Ingredients

600 grams tenderized steak

2 onions finely chopped 4 tablespoons of cooking oil 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of turmeric 2-3 tablespoons of roasted masala ( I use Pakco) 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 teaspoon of chili powder 4 tablespoons of garlic and Ginger . 1 tablespoon of vinegar 1 teaspoon of sugar A few bay leaves

Method .

Heat your oil and fry onions until golden add the steak and cook on a medium heat for 10 minutes . Add the rest of your ingredients and Braise / cook slowly on a gentle heat for 50 -60 minutes . Stirring occasionally and adding only half a cup of warm water at a time when needed , about 2 cups in total . Low to medium heat is key to a tender steak . High heat makes the steak contract , that is the case of all beef cuts . You may add potatoes to your curry .
