Ingredients
10-15 pieces of blade beef 2 medium sized onions peeled and finely chopped 3 cardamom pods 2 bay leaves 2 tablespoons of finely chopped garlic 3 tablespoons of cooking oil 1 packet of Black-eyed beans cooked in water till tender . Salt to taste 1 tablespoon of vinegar 1 teaspoon of sugar 2-3 tablespoons of roasted masala ( I use Pakco roasted masala ) 2 teaspoons of turmeric 1 tablespoon of paprika.
Method
In a large pot heat your oil and add your meat , onions , cardamom and bay leaves ... Braise on medium heat till meat and onions are brown , add your garlic and some hot water and cook until meat is almost tender , adding a little hot water when needed . Remember that beef are cooked slow and on a medium to low heat . When meat is almost tender , add all your spices , salt sugar and vinegar and Braise for 10 minutes stir a few times to prevent burning . Now add a cup of water and allow to cook for another 10 minutes . Now add you cooked and strained black-eyed beans with two cups of hot water and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes making sure to stir when needed . Serve as is , with bread , roti or rice .
Delicious .
