Tuisgemaakte gouestroop is ‘n groot bederf. Jy kan self gourmet-gouestroop maak deur neute of sade daarby te voeg.

Bestanddele: 6 x 250 ml suiker 500 ml water + 250 ml water ekstra 5 ml kremetart 5 ml sout

Metode: 1. Plaas suiker, 500 ml water, kremetart en sout in ‘n kastrol en kook tot dit ‘n amber stroop vorm. 2. Haal van die plaat af en voeg 250 ml koue water versigtig druppelsgewys by terwyl jy aanhou roer. **As stroop afgekoel het, kan pistasieneute, haselneute, granaatpitte of ‘n vanieljepeul bygevoeg word.
