Koffie-en-karamel selfsous poeding

1¼ koppie meel 1 eetlepel bakpoeier ’n knippie sout 4 eetlepels botter ½ koppie baie sterk koffie, afgekoel 1 teelepel vanieljegeursel 1 koppie bruinsuiker ½ koppie gouestroop 1 koppie room (of ingedampte melk), verkoel

Sif die droë bestanddele saam in ’n oondvaste bak (20x20). Smelt die botter en voeg dit saam met die koffie en vanilje geursel daarby. Roer dit een of twee keer liggies deur, maar moenie dit te veel meng nie. Sprinkel die bruinsuiker oor die beslag en gooi dan die gouestroop en laastens die room oor, SONDER om dit enigsins te roer. Dit lyk dalk nou of die resep gaan flop, maar moenie skrik nie..... Bak die poeding vir 40 minute teen 180 °C sonder ’n deksel in die oond totdat die bolaag goudbruin en gaar is en ’n dik sous onderin gevorm het. Laat staan dit vir 10 minute en sit dan voor.
