Warm aartappelslaai

Perfek as ’n winter-bykos saam met braaivleis.

Genoeg vir 6 – 8

1 x 500 g-sakkie baba-aartappels 125 ml goeie olyfolie sap en skil van 3 suurlemoene 60 ml heuning 60 ml korrelmosterd 1 hand vol Italiaanse pietersielie, fyngekap 250 g spek, fyngesny sout en varsgemaalde swartpeper

Plaas aartappels ongeskil in pot en bedek met koue water. Bring tot kookpunt en kook vir 15 – 20 minute of tot aartappels sag maar nie pap is nie. Maak intussen jou slaaisous: Meng olyfolie, sap en skil van suurlemoen, heuning, mosterd en pietersielie. Verhit braaipan tot warm en droogbraai spek tot goudbruin en bros. Gooi warm spek by olyfoliemengsel en meng deur. Geur met sout en peper. Dreineer gaar aartappels en halveer terwyl nog warm. Gooi sous oor warm aartappels en geur weer goed. Sit louwarm voor.
