CAMPFIRE SAUCE - BAKED BEANS

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups ketchup

• 3 onion, diced

• diced red bell pepper

• 230 g bacon, cooked and chopped

• 2 tsp Lazy Kettle Brand Liquid Smoke

• Couple of dashes 1849 Campfire Sauce

• 1 can (400g) butter beans

Cooking Instructions

1. Render the bacon in the pot and drain off the fat (save this for later).

2. Brown the beef and drain.

3. Add half of the fat from the bacon back into the pot and cook the onion until caramelized.

4. Throw all ingredients (except the 189 Campfire Sauce) in the crock pot.

5. Cook for 3-4 hours on HIGH or 7-9 hours on LOW.
