1 lb. of lean hamburger 1 thick slice of bread 1 sm. onion, grated 1 egg, beaten 1 tbsp. curry powder (2 tbsp. if you like it hot) 1 tsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. sugar Dash of salt Pepper to taste
Soak the bread in some water and add to the hamburger in a bowl. Mix the curry powder together with the vinegar, sugar and a little water and add to the meat along with the rest of the ingredients. Moisten with enough water to make firm but not dry mixture.
Form into one big ball and bake as a giant meatball or form into small balls and fry in Teflon baking pan or hot oil. Skewer with cocktail sticks and serve as "finger food".
