SWEET N SOUR CHICKEN chicken breasts 1 can chunk pineapple 1 jar maraschino cherries (no stems) 1 can sliced water chestnuts (drained) 1 jar sweet and sour sauce 1 large yellow onion (diced) 2 cups shredded carrot sticks 1 package bread crumbs 3/4 cup flour 1 egg
Cube chicken breast into bite size pieces. Beat egg and place in plastic gallon bag, put cubed chicken into bag and coat chicken evenly with egg mixture. Mix flour and bread crumbs together in a large bowl, take chicken out of egg mixture and place into bread crumb and flour mixture; coat chicken evenly.
Using either a deep fryer (recommended) or a large fry pan cook chicken to a golden brown. In a large pot on low heat mix pineapple, cherries, diced onion, carrots, water chestnuts together place chicken in pot, then cover with sweet and sour sauce. Mix together to coat evenly.
Serve over white rice and enjoy!!
