• Inspecting my face in the mirror, I noticed the crow’s feet looking more pronounced, and the wrinkles around my mouth were deeper. I applied night cream, which I hoped would work wonders on my face as I slept. According to the Bible, God does much more than even the most expensive beauty-cream “magic.” He can make us completely new, inside and out. In fact, the verse above shows that God is making us new, even as our bodies age. How does He do it? He stirs our hearts to read the Bible and pray. He gives us role models to show us how to live in joy and health. He gives us family and friends who love us. And He gives us opportunities to share all of His love and kindness with others. What rejuvenating effects it all works on our spirit! A few wrinkles hardly seem to matter. Let God renew you from the inside out.
