CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

Chicken Cordon Bleu is of French origin definition "blue ribbon", the term likewise describes a signature meal of chicken topped with a piece of ham and Swiss cheese, typically breaded and sauted, or in this case, covered in puff pastry for a simple and fast surface. This dish is chicken Cordon Bleu done the simple way.
Servings: 4 • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves. • 4 slices cooked ham. • 6 slices Swiss cheese. • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs. • 1/4 teaspoon salt. • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Cover a 7x11 inch baking meal with nonstick cooking spray. 3. Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch density. 4. Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. 5. Place 1 cheese piece and 1 ham piece on top of each breast. 6. Roll up each breast, and protect with a toothpick. 7. Place in baking meal, and sprinkle chicken equally with bread crumbs. 8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or up until chicken is not pink. 9. Get rid of from oven, and place 1/2 cheese piece on top of each breast. 10. Go back to oven for 3 to 5 minutes, or till cheese has actually melted. 11. Eliminate toothpicks, and serve promptly.
