FRENCH CHERRY DESSERT 1/2 lb. graham crackers, crushed (about 30 crackers or 2 c. crumbs) 1/2 c. butter, melted 2 tbsp. granulated sugar 2 pkg. Dream Whip 1 c. confectioners sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 (1 lb.) cans cherry pie filling

Combine cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well. Reserve 1/3 cup to garnish top. Press remaining crumb mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes; cool. Mix Dream Whip as directed on package; fold in cream cheese which has been blended with confectioners sugar. Spread mixture over crumbs; top with pie filling. Garnish with reserved crumbs. Refrigerate overnight before serving. Can be stored in refrigerator for 2-3 days. Makes 12-15 servings.
