1 bunch of ripe bananas (about 6) 1/2 stick butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup dark rum 1 lime, juiced 1 tsp table salt
Summon a trickster ghost by saying his name three times in a row.
Bond over your mutual hatred of sandworms while slicing the peeled bananas into 1/4 inch wedges.
While he oogles a teenage goth, put the butter in a skillet and melt it over a medium-high heat.
Throw the bananas in the skillet. Let them cook as slowly as a cigarette smoker in the netherworld’s waiting room.
When the bananas start to turn brown on both sides, sprinkle them with the brown sugar and salt. Stir a couple times until they’re as sticky as a week old corpse.
Feed your unwanted guests a couple shots of rum. Have a shot for yourself, then add a quarter cup to the skillet.
Gently stir the bananas one more time. Cook them down for another couple minutes before finish them with fresh squeezed lime juice.
Serve at a dinner party with jumbo shrimp cocktail, pretentious wine, and abject terror.
