WHOLEMEAL YOGHURT LOAF

250g whole wheat flour 8ml bicarbonate of soda 15ml brown sugar 5ml salt 30ml wheat germ 1 egg 30ml oil 250ml plain yoghurt 15ml sesame seeds

Combine dry ingredients and mix or process to combine. Mix the egg with oil and yoghurt and add to the dry ingredients. Process until well mixed, and turn into a greased 23cm loaf pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 190 C for about 50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Turn out on a wire rack to cool before slicing. Makes one loaf.
