Message from the Principal

Laerskool Meyerspark Primary is a beautiful school with a rich tradition. Our school is child friendly with dedicated teachers. Together as a team (parents, children, teachers) we meet goals and the dreams which are set.

The seven years that a child spends at primary school flies by in the twinkling of an eye. Our aim is to equip every child with the skills and knowledge they will need to go to a high school of their choice.

We teach them to love reading, writing and mathematics. The wonderful world of books, magazines and computers opens up to them.

The introduction to a variety of sport helps them to experience the joy of team spirit. The thrill of winning and the pain of losing will also be experienced.

As soon as we open up the world of cultural activities they can’t get enough of it. Whether they sing in the choir or dance in the revue or speak their mind at the speech festival, they feel that they have achieved an important goal in life.

An important part of our school is the value system that we have adopted. The children feel safe in this Christian based value system. We as a school know that we must trust in the Lord. All the blessings that we experience come from Him. It is important to teach our children that everything is possible through Him that gives us the power to do it.
