CONGEAL CHERRY SALAD 1 can tart pie cherries 1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello 1 c. sugar 1 pkg. plain Knox gelatin 5 tbsp. water, cooled 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 1 c. nuts, chopped Juice of 1 lemon and rind Juice of 1 orange and rind

Drain juice from pie cherries. Heat juice to boiling point. Remove from heat and add the lemon Jello stirring until dissolved. Add sugar and stir well. Dissolve Knox gelatin in water. Add to heated juice, Jello and sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into desired container and congeal.
