TARTAR SAUCE 1 cup real mayonnaise (or homemade) 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp. tarragon 1 tbsp. tarragon or good quality vinegar (cider or white) 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice (optional) 1 tbsp. chopped green olives 1 tbsp. sweet cucumber pickles or gherkins, chopped 1/4 tsp. ground celery seed (optional)
Combine all with mayonnaise. Chill and serve with fish or cold meat dishes.
