PICNIC ROAST 3 lb. chuck roast 6 peeled potatoes 4 peeled, cut carrots 1 onion 1 c. water 1 pkg. brown gravy mix Sprinkle of basil Sprinkle of parsley Sprinkle of onion powder 2 tsp. Worcestershire 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. flour
Combine all ingredients except flour and milk in Corning Ware dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 to 4 hours while you are at Sunday School and church. When you get home, make gravy by adding milk and flour to pot. Boil and whisk until smooth. Serves 4 to 6.
