CHICKEN AND HAM WITH GRAPES 4 chicken breasts, boned and cut 1/2 lb. smoked ham, cubed 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms 1 med. onion 1/2 lb. seedless white grapes 1/4 lb. butter 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. half and half 1/2 c. dry white wine Salt and pepper 1 tbsp. fine herbs 1 tsp. crushed rosemary 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper chicken and brown slowly in 6 tbsp. butter. Remove chicken to casserole. Saute onions, mushrooms and remaining butter in same pan. Stir in flour. Remove from heat and add half and half and wine, stirring with wire whisk until thickened. Add rest of ingredients. Pour sauce over the chicken and bake 45 minutes, 350 degrees, add grapes, cover with foil and continue baking 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
