BREAKFAST POPOVER MUFFINS 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. baking powder 4 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons melted butter 1/2 cup milk 1 egg, slightly beaten
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together. Add milk and shortening. Mix well. Add egg and mix again. Pour into greased muffin rings. Bake at 450°F for about 7 minutes.
Makes 8 popover muffins.
