Ingredients per 8 People Apples, 4 Eggs, 2 Sugar, 4,2 oz Butter, 2,8 oz Self raising flour, 1 cup Milk, 3,4 fl. oz Cinnamon, 1 tsp Vanilla essence 1 tsp Icing sugar, to sprinkle

Procedure Peel the apples and remove the core, then slice them as thin as you can (you can also use a mandolin if you have one). To make the batter, whip the eggs with the sugar. Add the vanilla extract, the cinnamon, the melted butter and the sifted flour. Mix well then add the milk. You will get a watery mixture. Add the sliced apples, mix well and pour it onto a greased baking tray. You can also use a silicone one that it doesn't need to be greased. Cook at 356F for 40 minutes and check with a toothpick if the cake is cooked. Leave it in the oven for a little longer if needed. Then sprinkle with icing sugar.
