"To save time, plan to prepare frozen peas while rice mixture cooks."

1 (6 ounce) package long grain and wild rice mix 1 can condensed beef broth (1 1/4 cups) 1 1/4 cups water 1 small onion, chopped (1/2 cup) 1/2 cup chopped celery 4 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 (3 ounce) can broiled sliced mushrooms, drained (about 1/2 cup)

Prepare rice mix according to package directions, substituting the beef broth and 1 1/4 cups water for the liquid called for on package.

Meanwhile, cook onion and celery in butter or margarine till tender but not brown.

Five minutes before end of cooking time for rice, stir in onion mixture and mushrooms. Continue cooking till all liquid is absorbed.
