“Then the one who looked like a man touched me again,
and I felt my strength returning.”
Daniel 10:18
• Some people are huggers; some aren’t. Me? I’m always ready with open arms. Maybe it’s because I’m so often on the go, go, go. When day is done, or whenever there’s a little break in the action . . . let’s have a hug. I’m amazed and thankful that the Lord understands our human need for touch, for warm contact with other people and even from Him. No, we can’t physically enjoy God’s touch, but He does have a way of reaching into our hearts. The prophet Daniel needed that touch, and when he received it, he gained renewed strength. Do you need a touch from God at the moment? The wonderful thing is that God has empowered His people—all those living in His kingdom—to administer that healing contact to each other. So step closer . . . here . . . God bless you! We can joyfully celebrate God’s love by reaching out a warm, caring hand.
