• “Once upon a time, in a land far away . . .” That’s how most fairy tales begin. As children, we read stories like Beauty and the Beast or Snow White, where ordinary women suddenly enter a crisis . . . get the handsome prince . . . and live happily ever after. Sigh. In real life, many of us single women are still wondering, “Where is my Prince Charming?” I know women who put their lives on hold—or at least wait to buy good furniture—until they get married. One Hammond, writes, “Men are not your problem or your answer. What you need is a heavenly prince.” I heartily agree. That prince is Jesus Christ, the One who wakes us up to the truth: The Heavenly Father is enough; look to Him first, and He will provide everything else. of my favorite authors, Michelle McKinney- God cares for all things, even your love life.
