Limited Perception?

“Whatever measure you use in judging others,
it will be used to measure how you are judged.”
Matthew 7:2
• Standing in the church corridor, I noticed a woman walk by in a revealing, sheer white dress. While pretending not to see her overexposed, shapely form, I thought, Flaunting it, huh? And in church, no less! Later, I stopped in the restroom before entering the sanctuary. Panic gripped me while adjusting my clothes; I discovered I’d forgotten to wear my slip. I went to the mirror and saw the outline of my white undergarments. Another case of flaunting! I felt trapped. I felt silly. I cracked open the door for a peek before venturing out. Wall-to-wall people. With my Bible and notebook pressed in strategic places, I crossed the foyer and slid into a pew against the back wall. Then, a few minutes before the pastor dismissed the congregation, I dashed out. Scurrying to my car, I could almost hear God chuckling at my new understanding of humility. Acknowledge your limited perception and ask God to forgive any judgmental attitudes.
