“My times are in thy hand.”
Psalm 31:15
• Margaret, the scrub nurse, was getting ready for surgery when she said, “Gail, listen to this! I was looking all over for the suture that we need for this case—2-0 silk on a small needle— and we didn’t have it anywhere. I went to pray with the patient and the mom. When I came back to the OR, I noticed two large boxes. I opened one. Right inside were the 2-0 needles, exactly what we needed.” I discovered the box had arrived the day before. But the church in the States had mailed it six months before that! I don’t even know how long the members had been collecting items to send to us before they mailed it. But this one thing I do know: It arrived at the exact time we needed it. Isn’t God great? God’s timing for our times is . . . perfect.
