“The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day.” Lamentations 3:22–23
• Ever have one of those days? or weeks? or life phases? Yeah, I know, me too. It all starts out looking so innocent, and then . . . BAM! Unexpected events put a crimp in your daily agenda. And some of the more intense experiences can change your life forever. My father-in-law recently injured his right hand and now begins the long process of rehabilitation. As a family, we will all need to rethink some of our long-term plans. And, I find that, in times like these, when I can’t seem to just “buck up” or “keep a stiff upper lip,” it’s the assurances of God that carry me through. He runs to you, wraps His loving arms around you, and protects you from the storms of life. And the best news of all is that His love is never exhausted and is always renewed each morning! God’s love and mercy are everlasting!
