• As my friend Ann prepares to speak at a women’s gathering, I listen to her enthusiasm and hear the excitement in her voice. “Do you think I should promote this to friends and relatives?” We plan to collaborate on a flier that she can send out as a personal invitation. “Stop by my office early next week. I have a flier on my computer.” It is with joy that we serve one another. No one person can do everything alone. With the help of newsletters, bulletins, PowerPoint presentations, and announcements, we spread the word about events. With the giving attitude of cooks, servers, setup and cleanup crews, decorations people, and speakers, we can effectively communicate the Gospel message by creating an environment conducive to fellowship. Serving together as the body of Christ, we move forward in one spirit.
