Roasted peanuts mixed with crisp and golden garlic is a great snack, and it is very easy to prepare.

Yields 2 cups

Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes | Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients: 1/2 cup canola oil (can be replaced with sunflower or another mild-tasting oil) 1 garlic clove, sliced 2 cups raw peanuts (can be replaced with store-bought peanuts) 1 tablespoon salt

Directions: In a saucepan over medium heat, warm up the oil. When it is hot, cook the garlic until it turns golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to absorb the excess oil. In the same saucepan over low-medium heat, sauté the peanuts, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes. Transfer them to a plate lined with paper towel to absorb the excess oil. In a bowl, mix together the peanuts, garlic and salt. Serve.
