Making the Traditional Filipino Ice Scramble or Iskrambol

Ingredients Needed for the Traditional Filipino Ice Scramble or Iskrambol

milk – evaporated; 1 medium-sized can extracts – banana or vanilla; ½ teaspoon; amount can be adjusted according to personal preference artificial liquid color – preferably pink or a few drops of red ice – shaved; 3 cups milk – powdered; 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup marshmallows – optional sugar – white; 1/3 cup Steps in Making the Traditional Filipino Ice Scramble or Iskrambol

In a bowl, add in evaporated milk, extracts, and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add in shaved ice. Mix thoroughly again. You may choose to use a blender for this step. Pour mixture into small-sized disposable plastic cups. Top the mixture with chocolate syrup, powdered milk and/or marshmallows. Place straws or disposable plastic teaspoons in cups. Serve immediately.
