Smoked Salmon with Lemon Dill Butter Canapés

Ingredients •1 stick unsalted butter, softened •Zest from 1/2 a lemon •3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped •1 baguette, cut into thin slices and toasted •5 ounces smoked salmon, cut into pieces •1/4 cup créme fraîche •Several cherry tomatoes, halved for garnish
Method 1.Combine butter, lemon zest, and dill in a small bowl. Cover with plastic and refrigerate overnight. 2.Spread lemon dill butter thinly on baguette rounds. 3.Top with a small piece of smoked salmon. 4.Add small dollop of créme fraîche to the top of the salmon and garnish with a half of a cherry tomato.
