“You are already rich!”
1 Corinthians 4:8
• I am truly rich. Oh, I often struggle with bills and I don’t possess much of what my neighbors have. When I see recreation vehicles pulled over at roadside parks, sometimes I think how nice it would be to own one. When I cross the bridge that takes me to my new home, I spy numerous boats and jet skis on the water. I don’t have those things. I may not be wealthy, but my abundance doesn’t depend on money. I grew up with two parents who cared about me. I had a brother who loved me most of the time. I had the opportunity to go to school to gain the knowledge I needed to live a good life. Years later, I married a wonderful man and gave birth to three beautiful children. I’m now the proud grandmother of three little girls. All of these blessings make me rich indeed. Being rich is not having everything I want, but wanting the things I have.
