Camembert starter with a berry compote

For all you cheese lovers out there! Today we're doing a deep fried Camembert starter with a berry compote. Absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
1-2 wheels of Camembert 5 tbsp all-purpose flour 2 pinches salt 1 pinch black pepper 2 pinches chopped rosemary 2 eggs, beaten 6 tbsp dried bread crumbs or Panko crumbs B-well canola oil 1 tsp finely chopped fresh thyme (optional) Berry compote or a refined berry jam 500ml B-well canola oil
Method:
1. Set out two bowls: one with flour and another with beaten egg, and the third with bread crumbs. 2. Dredge the cheese in the flour, followed by the beaten egg and finally the bread crumbs. 3. Make sure that the cheese wheels are evenly coated. 4. Place 1 while at a time in medium-hot B-well canola cooking oil. 5. Leave until golden brown and remove from oil to strain. 6. Sprinkle salt, rosemary and thyme over each wedge. 7. Plate with some berry compote or a refined jam.
