Pumpkin fritter balls

These deep fried pumpkin fritter balls are deliciously addictive, topped with cinnamon sugar, syrup or a caramel sauce... Yum.
Ingredients:
1 cup pumpkin, cooked and mashed 1 cup flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 Tbsp caster sugar 1 egg ¼ cup milk pinch of salt 1L B-well canola oil, for deep frying
Method:
1. Combine all the ingredients and mix until you have a smooth batter.
2. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan and fry spoonfuls of the batter (making small batter balls) until golden brown and cooked throughout, approximately 2-3 minutes.
3. Remove from the oil and allow to drain on kitchen paper.
4. Continue until all the fritters are cooked.
5. Coat with sugar, syrup or caramel sauce.
